Bank of Central Florida Celebrates South Tampa Grand Opening

ABI is proud to celebrate the opening of the Bank of Central Florida’s South Tampa location on South Howard Avenue, marking the completion of a ground-up construction project led by ABI.

The new location represents another addition to South Tampa’s growing commercial community and provides Bank of Central Florida with a purpose-built facility designed for its continued growth in the Tampa Bay market.

From the Ground Up

Unlike a renovation or interior build-out, this project gave ABI the opportunity to manage the construction of an entirely new facility from the ground up.

Ground-up commercial construction requires coordination throughout every stage of the project, from early site work and building systems to exterior construction, interior finishes, and final completion.

The finished building reflects the planning, coordination, and attention to detail required to take a project from plans to a fully operational commercial facility.

Celebrating the New South Tampa Location

Following completion, Bank of Central Florida marked the opening of its new location with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Tampa Mayor Jane Castor, bank leadership, project partners, and members of the community.

For ABI, seeing a completed building open its doors is one of the most rewarding parts of the construction process. The ribbon cutting represented not only the opening of a new bank location, but the culmination of the work that went into bringing the project to life.

ABI is proud to have led the ground-up construction of Bank of Central Florida’s South Tampa location and to have played a role in creating the bank’s new home in the Tampa Bay community.
