Performance Lab: Demolition Completed

The transformation of the former Harley-Davidson building on Dale Mabry Highway has reached an important milestone. Demolition is complete, clearing the way for construction of The Performance Lab, a new advanced health, rehabilitation, and performance facility.

The demolition phase marks the beginning of a dramatic transformation for the existing building. What once served an entirely different purpose is now being prepared for a new life as a specialized healthcare and performance environment.

Preparing an Existing Building for a New Purpose

Transforming an existing commercial property begins with understanding what can remain, what needs to change, and what must be removed to accommodate the new design.

With demolition complete, the interior has been opened up and prepared for the next stages of construction. The before-and-after photos provide a unique look at just how much a building can change before the new spaces even begin to take shape.

This stage creates the foundation for the framing, building systems, specialized spaces, and finishes that will eventually define The Performance Lab.

The Transformation Begins

Adaptive reuse gives existing commercial properties an opportunity to serve an entirely new purpose. For this project, a former Harley-Davidson facility is being transformed into a modern destination focused on health, rehabilitation, recovery, and performance.

The completion of demolition is only the beginning. As construction moves forward, the open interior will gradually take shape and reveal an entirely different facility.
